Top Rank promoter Bob Arum had to abruptly leave the Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito kickoff press conference in Los Angeles after he learned that is 49 year old lawyer son was missing on a hiking trip in the mountains in Seattle, Washington State.

Arum who acts as the emcee of the media conference grabbed the first available flight out of LA with his wife Lovee after his son was reported missing on Sunday. Arum and his wife had just returned from an enjoyable European vacation.
Arun said search parties were out in the mountainous areas of Seattle, Washington looking for his son.
Michael Marley reported on boxingscene.com that John Arum was “a highly skilled environmental attorney and is committed to working for water reforms in Washington and to helping create a state where both people and natural fish populations can coexist.”
Arum also represents Indian tribes and has done so since 1990.
The New York press conference and the final promotional tour stop at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas will go on as scheduled with Arum unlikely to attend if his son isn’t found.
