Four-time Most Valuable Player Alvin “The Captain” Patrimonio of Purefoods and import Bill Ray Bates, nicknamed “The Black Superman” who played for Crispa and later teamed up with Michael Hackett to give Ginebra San Miguel its first PBA championship in 1986 head the list of seven inductees into the 2011 PBA Hall of Fame.

It is obvious that the PBA failed to conduct a background check and conduct due diligence on the ability of the promoter, in the much hyped PBA games in Dubai, the Filipino Basketball Center headed by Ramon Pizarras, which resulted in a debacle in Dubai, at least for the Talk N’ Text team.

ATENEO DE DAVAO WINS AGAIN 140-6

The President of the Sports Communicators Organization of the Philippines Davao Chapter, Lito delos Reyes reports that defending champion Ateneo de Davao University posted another convincing win by routing Holy Cross of Davao College by 136 points, 140-6 yesterday in the second Royal Mandaya Inter-School Mini Basketball Tournament at the Almendras gym.
