University of Santo Tomas fought back from a first-set setback and overcame a tough Far Eastern U side as it carved out a hard-earned 17-25, 28-26, 25-22, 25-17 victory for its second straight victory and the solo lead in Shakey’s V-League Season 6 at The Arena in San Juan late Tuesday night.

University of Santo Tomas leaned on the come-backing Angeli Tabaquero and veteran Aiza Maizo in a thrilling fourth set duel to beat Adamson, 25-18, 17-25, 25-17, 25-16, yesterday in a big start to its back-to-back title bid in the Shakey’s V-League at The Arena in San Juan on Sunday.
